Paulownia Project:

In 2024, the Nooyen family launched another project focusing on the cultivation of Paulownia trees in addition to the earlier planted 1 ha. Paulownia is renowned for their rapid growth and substantial carbon sequestration capabilities. This initiative covers an area of 12.4 hectares in Deurne, the Netherlands. The primary goal is to enhance carbon storage in both biomass and soil, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation.
