The tree needs little water, is excellent at improving soil quality, and plays an important role in reducing nitrogen problems. By using little fertiliser and crop protection, the Paulownia tree reduces leaching of pollutants to groundwater, contributing to more sustainable land use.
In addition, Agrovation works with a beekeeper. The hives on the site enhance biodiversity and support natural pollination. The honey produced locally is a valuable addition to the project and highlights how nature and agriculture can reinforce each other. Anne-Claire, Youri's partner, supports him in every aspect of the project, from planning to implementation.
